Cassandra is horrified when her beloved literature teacher Sarah Beecham is accused of teaching pornographic and subversive material in class, and forced to stand down despite her determination to continue.
Cassandra herself is soon caught up in war-god Ares’ sinister use of the media to provide nuclear capability and weapons to poor Arab states, intending to bring about a Doomsday war of all against all. She must bow to Ares’ demands for her services or Sarah Beecham will be consigned forever to a brutal indoctrination prison. Cassandra and her friends have only their wits and courage to use against this internet state-terrorism.
They manage to free Prometheus from his cruel stakes and chains in Hades Hall, hoping he would help the human race as he once had by giving them fire. But the wily Ares convinces him the most fruitful thing would be to give nuclear power to everyone. He is turned from this suicidal course by his new-born passion fro Cassandra, but the world-wide spy network has other cards to play...
